These are the original all-weather OEM mats for the driver/passenger floor and the newer style single-piece for the rear seats. The rear mat is new and never used, and the front mats are in good condition.
First off, thanks to JDMuscle (I think :uh: ) for nudging me towards checking out what kind of a deal I could do on a new 2018 GX460.
I had a 2007 GS350 with only 72k miles which was still running like the day I bought it, but after 11 years, I felt like it was time for something different. I had bought my wife a new 2016 RX350 and did not really have a need for another SUV in the family. But if I'm being honest, living in Houston, most of the people are driving around in big trucks and SUVs and will never see a day off the pavement unless they are backing out crooked off the driveway. I at least won't hesitate to go off road when/if the opportunity presents itself :woohoo:
This afternoon I pulled the trigger and bought a new Lexus GX460 with the following options
ALL-WEATHER FLOOR MATS W/CARGO MAT
BLIND SPOT MONITOR W/REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT
CARGO-AREA TONNEAU COVER
EXHAUST TIP
HEADLAMP WASHERS
MAHOGANY WOOD & LEATHER TRIMMED STEERING WHEEL
PREFERRED ACCESSORY PACKAGE
PREMIUM PACKAGE W/CAPTAINS CHAIRS
I also negotiated an additional dealer installed tow package because, well, it's a truck and it can haul stuff. I have nothing to haul other than some bikes, but now I have a reason to get something to haul. My RX350 hauls groceries like a champ... but anything over 3000+ lbs would be a problem. At least my new GX wont sweat it.
The dealer's MSRP was $57,763 before the tow package. They wanted something like another $1400 or so for the tow package which I quickly laughed at. I told them MSRP on that was $654 and I was not planning to even pay that much. I'm sure after market plus install labor adds up.. but no way I was paying that much. They added it in at $654 which brought MSRP to $58,417. I paid $47654 with the $4000 Lexus cash factored in. See below for a fairly close approximation of invoice price.
Last but not least, the pictures:
I'm planning on having clearbra and ceramic coating done next week, and will post pics afterwards. It should be looking insanely glossy by then.
Hi i'm selling a square set of GSF wheels all fronts 19x9 powder coated gunmetal! Two of the wheels have a curb rash on them but everything else is great! Never been cracked or damaged, these were originally factory take off wheels from Lexus. I had these wheels on my GS350 f sport, and they worked perfectly but when I tried to put them on my RCF I wasn't getting the traction I desired so I opted for a staggered set. Now i'm left with this set so if anyone is interested please contact me at 949-295-2963 or DM me here. Price is $1,500 without tires and this price is considering the curb rashes already so don't low ball me. These wheels are rare and hard to get a hold of. I repeat, these will be perfect for any 4th Gen GS or IS!
Retuned suspension delivers more precise ride and handling
August 29, 2018 TOKYO (August 30, 2018) Lexus is proud to announce a new version of the RC luxury sports coupe, which is scheduled to make its global debut at the Paris Motor Show in October.
Since its introduction in 2014, the RC has played a major role in promoting the Lexus brands commitment to delivering an emotional driving experience. Thanks to its aggressive styling and versatile driving character, the RC has become a highly sought-after coupe by enthusiasts who value performance and world-class craftsmanship.
The fresh new styling of the 2019 RC retains all the virtues of the previous model yet further refines the design language first established by the flagship LC coupe. Inside the cabin, everything from the high- quality materials to the design of controls and gauges were reevaluated to maximize driving pleasure.
Enhancements have also been made to the RCs aerodynamics, tires and suspension, as well as improvements to engine response and steering feel, all of which result in a sharper and more refined drive. This provides a high level of driver confidence and a reassuring ride quality, making it an ideal companion whether youre challenging a twisty mountain road or taking a long-distance journey on the open highway.
New RC Features Sporty, Yet Elegant Design
Lexus designers sought to maintain the RCs dynamic coupe proportions, while adding a high level of elegance to the exterior. This was done through the addition of distinctive design elements, such as a new front bumper corner that flows down from the headlamps and a grille mesh pattern that gradually transforms from top to bottom. Optional triple LED headlamps and L-shaped LED clearance lamps also add to the cars more refined appearance. Air ducts have been added to the corner of the RCs rear bumpers along with revised rear combination lamps that now house more pronounced L-shaped lenses, a new signature design feature for Lexus coupes.
The new RC F Sport receives the grille mesh pattern that graces all F Sport vehicles, as well as numerous other custom exterior and interior items exclusive to the F Sport, including aggressively-styled 19-in. alloy wheels that were inspired by those on the LS and LC.
A total of 10 different exterior colors will be available for the RC, including a new color, Blue Vortex Metallic, that truly convey the cars sporty nature.
Updated Interior Details Further Refine the RC Experience
In order the enhance the feel of the cabin, a new Dark Gray Streamline treatment has been applied to the heater control panel and audio panel, while enlarged knee pads have been raised to create a heightened sense of space.
New ornamentation, also Dark Gray Streamline, will be made standard on the RC F Sport. In all, the customer can choose from six different types of interior trim. Interior colors include Glazed Caramel and Black with Yellow accents. In all, there are seven exclusive interior color combinations available, including those for the F Sport.
The New RC Adopts Sharper and More Graceful Driving Concept
The idea of sharper and more graceful defines the LC flagship, so Lexus engineers have applied the same concept to the new RC. This included enhancing the cars aerodynamics and fine-tuning the suspension system and powertrain. Armed with a more stable ride quality and sharper handling characteristics, the new RC is more athletic and responsive than ever.
Enhanced aerodynamicssuch as a new fin shape on the side window mold and a duct on the rear bumper that improves air flow, result in improved stability. New 19-in. wheels and tires with increased grip deliver excellent steering response. Stiffer suspension bushings have been incorporated along with new shock absorbers which provide significant damping force from low suspension stroke speeds. Thanks to a significant amount of real-world testing that allowed constant fine-tuning by the chassis engineers, the new RC delivers an extremely supple ride quality and razor-sharp handling characteristics.
More details on the 2019 Lexus RC coupe will be revealed in October when the it makes its world debut at the 2018 Paris Motor Show.

Sup guys, trying to figure out this light problem. Tried searching but I had little luck. I found these but I'm not quite sure what I'm looking at unfortunately.

I changed the bulb many times, checked connector... Checked fuses 25, 31, and 32. What else should I check or where would I find a wiring diagram for the trunk light? I believe it's on the same loom as the non-spoiler 3rd brake light.
Having no truck light sucks lol
Is it like this video? Or do I have to remove the plastic covers at the side too? Because there are a few clips I cannot get off .... I do not want to damage the covers...
really more for impeding traffic in the slow lane, but nevertheless it is illegal and i'm happy to see this getting enforced for a change. pretty short "article" but here's the content:
CHICO, Calif. - A California Highway Patrol officer is receiving a lot of "likes" on Facebook after giving a driver a ticket for going too slow in the fast lane and clogging up traffic.
The CHP Chico Office posted a photo on the department's Facebook page. It shows the citation issued to the driver for going 45 miles an hour and impeding traffic.
Twenty cars were backed up behind the driver in the fast lane of Skyway in Chico, according to the CHP.
"Just a friendly reminder for those who may not be aware of California Vehicle Code Section 21654," the post said. "If vehicles are passing you on the right, you are in the incorrect lane. Please use the right lane for driving and the left lane for passing."
The CHP said moving over and allowing vehicles to pass will help limit unnecessary congestion and reduce the potential for an accident.
Hello everyone! New problem. My car don't downshift on time. When I floor it, the car takes off like a rocket but when I stop on red light the car starts lurching forward like 2 or 3 times till it downshifts to first gear. Anyone knows what to look for?
By the way I did change transmission pan gasket due to very tiny leak and also changed transmission oil filter and used the recommended ATF.
Hello,
I recently ordered a ATP CF-44 cabin air filter for my 2005 Lexus ES330 from RockAuto.
I took out my old cabin air filter and compared it with the new one I received and the new filter was slightly bigger. This raised an eyebrow but I still tried to fit it in the filter holder but it did not fit.
The ATP filter slightly sticks out and it doesn't fit straight if you push it in.
Has anyone else had an issue with this filter? Was I sent the wrong filter in the right box? Any suggestions?

Could someone (admin?) please tell me why I 'don't have permission to view' the following link?? I'm logged in..... and can't figure out how to send this directly to Moderator.... Many thanks!!
Hi guys, I just purchased some wheels from Weds and was wondering what are some good lug nut and locks for them? And just to be sure, is our thread pitch 12x1.5? Thanks!
Whats your thoughts on the RC refresh and the RC in general. Knowing Lexus Im surprised they did not discontinue the RC, coupes dont last too long in the line up in my opinion.
we all know those year LS are not equip with cabin filter, i have searched and nothing in regards to alternative way for having a filtration system so it doesnt smell like *** everytime i use AC lol. Please let me know any fix also any suggestions for a prototype project are welcome, even diagram for air ducting for the 1992 ls400 will help start this project.
Anyone know where I could find an official Lexus all-weather trunk liner (non-carpet) for the 2018 ES 350. Dealership had issues finding this part and had to refund the charge from my purchase. Anyone have a part number?
