The liftgate on my NX 200t will only open about 3/4's open. Will not raise the liftgate above my head. Any ideas why?

Emissions Trouble in Northern VA
I have a 2007 Lexus IS250 AWD located in Northern Virginia where emissions are very strict. I have electric exhaust cutouts placed before the secondary catalytic converters but all the cats are still there and there is no check engine light. I passed all of the computer tests but the shop failed me on the visual check even though all the cats are there. I am going to hear back from the compliance officer from the Department of Environmental Quality tomorrow and was wondering if any of you guys know if the cutouts themselves are illegal in Virginia or could I just buy exhaust cutout covers and bolt them on for the test then take them off after?

Outside Mirror Damage
Simply an FYI for anyone with a damaged exterior mirror cover. I've read hear a number of times replacement mirrors are very expensive. Used units are not cheap & can be a gamble.
Ours was damaged by a large truck mirror, we believe. Looked at used for well North of $300.00 US + paint when I get it.
Talked to the local dealer & ordered in an OEM replacement cover - skull cap- factory painted to match the car.
I reviewed a few on-line DYI sites & looks like a 30-45 minute job to remove the damaged part & install the new.

Left Turn signal blinks to fast
Hi guys first time posting hope its in right place. The left turn signal in my lexus LS 460 blinks faster then normal which would normally mean a blown bulb but all the lights work. Have swaped the bulbs over from right side yet still the same issue..any suggestions would be appreciated??

RX350 2012 can"t start it
I've been away for 2 weeks and when I tried to start the car, it won't start. I had the same problem last december when I went away for a week. The sound it makes when I try starting the car is "tick a tick a tick"...sort of ;-). The message I get is: Check the AWD system. Somebody had this problem? Is it a battery problem or something else? In december, I plug my car for the night and the next day, the car started.

Actuator Replacements need reprogramming?
I just bought some actuators on ebay, it says they are a perfect fit, I took it to my mechanic and had him install them. He installed only the front ones only. It locks/unlocks from the master switch but when I try to open and close the doors with the master key via driver door it only unlocks the driver door. Sometimes it also triggers the car alarm when I open the driver door....also lost the feature of placing the master key in the driver side door holding the key to the right to bring down all the windows and opening the sunroof. So my question is does the actuator need to be reprogrammed some how?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Worn Leather Wheel, drivers seat
Does anyone have a good brown leather steering wheel for sale for a '97 LS? A wooden wheel (dark brown mahogany) would be cool too.
I also need a tan drivers seat since mine is cracked and split in back rest.
I also have an issue with my ignition switch "back plate." The back plate seems to be warped from the summer heat. It has come unlatched from the bottom of the dash and since it is warped, I cannot tuck it back in place. Short of getting another one, any ideas on a fix? Would the complete ignition switch need to be replaced or is it a two piece unit (switch, back plate.)

Dim headlight question
Hi there, Have a 1999 Rx300 with 250k trouble free miles. Expect another 50k plus until I buy an RX Hybrid.
question. Head lights are a little fogged, nothing serious but night driving is a little dim to say the least. Will changing the bulbs with stock bulbs improve brightness or go with an upgrade? Or replace all together.

help with Grill Emblem
I was wondering if somebody could help me with removing and replacing a grill emblem on a 2015 IS 250 F-sport. Right now I have the OEM stock "L", however there is a small crack in the plastic and it looks bad. I would like to put the Black Pearl "L" emblem, however I do not know how to go about doing it.
I found a Black Pearl on ebay for about $130 or so. I was at the dealer and I just priced a replacement to see what they would charge...and they told me it would be somewhere around $500 or so because they have to "remove the whole front grill". I find that very hard to believe.
I'm not the most hand of guys, but I can figure stuff out from a video or pictures. Can anybody help me out on how to remover the factory grill emblem and install a Black Pearl or another OEM grill emblem? It is much appreciated!

Do I have a ghost? Rear hatch open
So last night I pulled in the garage closed the door and came inside. This morning we thought we would go for a ride in the wife's IS convertible because it is very pretty in Georgia today. The rear hatch was wide open on my NX. WTH? I am so glad I always pull in close to wall. If I didn't surely I would have damage to the hatch door. Has this happened to anyone else? Only thing I can figure is maybe while the key was in my pocket I sat and activated the door. Any thoughts? Should I contact a priest?

NX Rear License Plate Cover Screw Size
Went to attach my license sticker and the screw top broke off...both sides are tight (likely rusted)...now I'm needing the screw size so I can go and get more.
