I recently got a 2006 RX400h and there is an annoying squeaking noise coming from the passenger wiper. The noise was there before I replaced the wiper blades, and is still there after replacement. I oiled the spring and anywhere I could see where it could make noise, but nothing helped. Strangely, the noise DOES NOT occur when the wiper is in the up position away from the windshield. I thought it could be oil on the windshield but I just washed that really thoroughly and it didn't help. Any ideas?

IS250 vs IS250 F-Sport
I'm in the market for a 2014 IS250 and have recently discovered a F-Sport about 700 miles from my city whose list price is only about $1K higher than the base IS250s in my area. I've tried researching on my own, but I still can't tell exactly what's different about the F-Sport compared to the regular IS250. Performance wise, they seem the same. The F-Sport has a different grill?
What exactly is different about the F-Sport? How much more expensive are they? I've seen them $4-5K higher than the base model. Is the extra cost worth it?

Needs to trouble shoot an issue
So I've done some reading on here but can't find exactly what I'm looking for.
I've installed a couple of subs and an amp using a LOC. I tapped into the speaker wires going into the stock sub.
So what I'm experiencing is my subs should be hitting harder than they are. I haven't had a system for some time but back then I installed full setups and never tapped into a stock system like this. They hit much harder with less power. Now I've read there is some technology in the the stock system to reduce distortion to the sub. Is this true? Is there away around it? Would tapping into the wires before they go through the amp help? Am I screwed and just have to deal with it? I did install a gain control so that I can turn the amp up but it still doesn't sound as good as I would like. It seems to bleed off when I turn it up over 40, 42ish. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Selling (or buying) from out of state
I am selling my "fun car" and have someone who wants to buy it from another state. For those who have either bought or sold a car from another state (private party), what was the process? He's suggesting we use a site like www.escrot.com which verifies he has placed the funds into the account and then I ship him the car. I am new to this as in the past I have just sold and bought my cars locally - can anyone provide pointers? I'm looking to make this as secure and convenient as possible for both of us. I hadn't given much thought to the process - he is handling shipping but I don't know what to do or expect on the financial side of things. I appreciate any help and please feel free to provide specific details. The part that I'm wondering about is the "acceptance" of the car by him which would release the funds to me. I feel like I need advice on how to get things documented and in writing about what defines the acceptance, what happens if he decides he doesn't want the car, etc.
I don't expect him to just send me a cashier's check and hope that I end up sending him the car, so I understand he needs protection as well.

Any scoop on the running change for F-Sport Rotors?
2013 Lexus GS 350 F Sport, RWD..
Originally came with two piece rotors. Part number 43516-30061 and 43512-30371 (L & R)
Comes time to re-do the brakes at 40000miles. Called Local Dealer and they can only source the current one piece replacements, 43512-WY010 and 43512-WY020 (R & L)
I did ask them if the original two piece can still be ordered but according to them the answer is NO.. Not sure as I am thinking the current GS models are still coming from Japan with the 2 piece rotors?
Anybody can shed some light on this topic??

Screen Protector Nav Screen
I purchased a 2011 RX350 with navigation for my wife recently. She cleaned the screen with water and soft microfiber cloth.
She noticed some scratches after and is not sure if they were existing or she made them. Anyway to remove them?
Does the screen have an antiglare coating?
She is thinking that a screen protector may be the way to go.

2014 IS250 Fsport engine into 2007 IS250
Hello everyone, first post here and after much research I have a question I was hoping to get some assistance with. I recently purchased a 2007 IS250 (120,000 miles), and sure enough after almost a year, the dreaded start up rattle. I have sourced an engine out of a 2014 IS250 F sport and want to swap it into my car. Im mechanically capable of doing the job but wanted to run it by the forum to make sure there arent any different or updated sensors, or difference in engine design before I go ahead and order the new engine

NY FS: 08-13 Lexus ISF Greddy Ti supreme exhaust
Hey CL, up for sale is my recently purchased Greddy Ti Supreme exhaust. Love the sound and flow and the look of the Ti quad tips, but i think its a bit too loud for my taste and my wife and son. Everyone knows the price of this exhaust so i'm not going to exprese this as much as i should. Please only serious buyer in this sale. Exhaust due to previous owner returning it to MIJ for economic reasons package lt wrong so the exhaust took about two three dings hardly noticeable especially it being under the car. Unfortunately i didnt take pictures and exhaust is currently installed in my car. Will he removing it in the next few days and returning back to my Figs/Hks combo.

Rock auto flunks on NGK spark plug description
I acquired a set of NGK Laser Iridium IFR6T11 (Stock number 4589) spark plugs from Rock Auto.
The reason for NGK's is I am replacing a set of Denso IK20 (Stock number 5304-tapeted ground electrode) with NGK tapered ground electrode....or so I thought
The tapeted ground electrode configuration offers a slight, noticeable power increase, but does not possess the platinum disc on the ground electrode side so replacement occurs at 20 - 30k miles.vs. 100k for platinum disc plugs.
The goal then was to find a tapered electrode design (better spark) but with a platinum disc for longevity..
Rock auto advertises the NGK as having a tapered electrode...(inaccurate) with platinum disc on ground electrode...
I am informed by NGK that Rock Auto's depiction of the NGK plug with tapered ground electrode is inaccurate
The customer service contact at Rock Auto was difficult and failed to acknowledge that I was speaking or that I was holding the non-tapered NGK spark plug in my hand while telling me it was tapered so I terminated the call and contacted NGK. Very helpful people at NGK...

Used VHT Nightshade to Tint Taillights
Hey guys! This is my first post here so I thought I'd share my experience with tinting my taillights using VHT nightshade. This was my second experience using the product, as I previously tinted my 2016 Lexus IS taillights with VHT as well. Last time I removed the taillights and sprayed them separately, but this time I tried to do it by masking off surrounding areas and keeping the lights on instead. I also masked off the white parts of the light to keep them that colour and only tinted the red. If you guys have any questions or comments about the process/final result pease let me know!
