Hi Guys,


I want to get rid of my front splitter. Condition is 9/10 retailing now for 350 USD. Just a FYI, the hole comes pre-drilled but i don't have the screw for it since i got it from someone couple months ago but never install it. I am looking to get rid of it for 250 CAD. Only looking for someone in the Toronto area and pick up, i don't want to deal with the shipping hassle. Thanks.

hello so here is the issue with engine on and in gear, driving noticed a clicking noise .
so I put car in netural and shut off the engine and coasted still hearing the clicking noise
my first assumption is u-joint making noise.
or possibly a axle but don't feel any jerking in drive line.
what would a bad axle sound like? or ?
please help any input would be helpful

Hello everyone,

I was driving home from work today and noticed that my gas pedal wasn't responding on occasion when I needed to accelerate. By the time I got home the problem went away so I thought my car was acting up due to the hot weather. Later on the way home from the gym I decided to take the long route home to see if the same symptoms show up than out of no where my gas pedal stopped responding completely. My check engine, VSC, VSC OFF lights came on and stayed on. The gas pedal no longer worked but the car would remain on so I put my car in drive and let it crawl to a safe area to park. After letting the car sit and turning it on and off a few times the gas pedal finally worked again. The car drove home with all the lights on but felt sluggish. Any input on what it might be would be appreciated.

Hi there, new here. I have a 04 IS300 that I bought used last year. After replacing my stereo that wasn't working a few months ago, my dash lights stopped working and I haven't been able to figure out the issue. When the engine is turned on, only the brake and seat belt lights turn on. But when the key is first engaged before the engine starts, the maintenance required, oil, traction control, battery, etc (all lights in the bottom left corner of the dash) turn on as well as some of the lights in the top right corner including ABS and the check engine light. However, the 3 main areas like the RPM, speedometer, and fuel/mileage gauge lights don't work.

I checked the 7.5A INTERIOR fuse which was burnt, and after removing it completely the same lights appeared. I installed a new 7.5A fuse, and nothing changed, which leaves me unsure what the underlying problem may be. I don't have much experience with car electrical so I didn't want to start messing around without knowing what to be looking for. Any insight would be appreciated!

05 rx 330 monitor screen just started going blank for a sec when I would flick the brights. Then other warning lights and the speedometer flashed. When wife are home she was unable to lock with remote and said battery was dead. Please help

I purchased the following parts to mirror the screen of my nexus 5x (not mhl compatible) on the navigation screen. I do not have the rear headrest av players in my car. Just the front nav screen which can play DVDs.

From all the research that I have done, I should be able to mirror my phone screen to the nav screen, while the vehicle is parked and the parking brake is engaged. But for some reason the video is not being displayed. I can hear the audio fine, no issues. Also, I have tried to swap the yellow and red cables of the composite cable (as other permutations as well) as suggested in some other forums. That did not helped too. I have also checked each component individually and they are all working in the house, so they are all correctly functioning parts.

Am I missing something? is video no available through the aux jack in the center console? do I have to change some other settings for this to work?

Please help me if somebody has done something similar.

Hey guys,
Long story short I owned a 2008 ISF two years ago and installed the ISS DES exhaust on it with the help of a buddy who works for Toyota (he knows his stuff). It was perfect, sounded deeper than stock but had absolutely no drone and wasn't annoyingly loud. Sadly I sold the car. I recently purchased another 2008 ISF about 3 months ago. My buddy moved so I took it to a performance shop around where I live and had another ISS DES exhaust installed thinking that it would be exactly like what I had before. The results were not what I expected. The car is all around louder, has a drone between 1500-2000 RPM"s, you can smell the exhaust more, and I can feel more vibration through the pedal when I am accelerating.

So far I have taken the car to a regular oil change shop, the Lexus Dealership, and a performance exhaust shop. Regular oil shop said it looked good, lexus dealership said it looked good, the performance exhaust shop recommended replacing the mufflers. I also spoke with a gentleman from ISS directly, he has been great help and willing to help however he can. Issue is that I live 14 hours away from their HQ therefore they can't look at the car themselves.

I will list everything I know about the car and if any of you guys have any recommendations I would appreciate it.

- Previous owner said that dealership notice two small cracks around the primary cats, so they welded them.
- Primary cats are still on the car
- Previous owner removed the secondary cats and straight piped the mufflers (I removed that setup as soon as I got in my ISS exhaust)
- Purchased the ISS DES exhaust used from a performance shop
- Had the exhaust installed by performance shop
- Had three places look at the exhaust, gaskets, and so on with all of them saying it looks fine

This is getting pretty frustrating as I can't think of what else could be causing the exhaust to be so much louder and drone compared to the first one.
I did read something about the exhaust manifold flange seperating away from the heads. I'm going to have this looked at as soon as I can figure out a way to see them.

Okay, I have looked all over the forum and cannot find an answer to this. The upper door trim (the part that is either walnut or aluminum just above the long ambient LED light, part #67782-30380) is vibrating on bass hits in my 2013 GS. I'm trying to figure out how to remove this piece, put Dynamat behind it, and then put it back in place. I found the thread regarding dents in the aluminum trim pieces in the F-Sports, but there's no discussion about how the piece comes off. I don't want to try to pry it off only to learn that it's screwed in from the back or something else.

This was a practice piece to test some new epoxy resins. This is an actual OEM LEXUS hood vent (dealer cost $67) and i have over laid with real carbon fiber and layered it with high temp epoxy.
that was level sanded and clear coated with Dupont Automotive clear coat that was wetsanded and buffed. The other day my friend tried to load his extra long driver into my Gen 3 RX horizontally but could not quite fit it in straight and was complaining that he didn't have a problem like that with my old RX. I told him it's nonsense and that it's his problem using an oversized driver shaft that is 2 inches longer than stock in his quest to make up for his weak swing. (I just a figured the current model's trunk was much roomier).

Check out the pic below however. I overlayed the current trunk's roll away cover on top of the old trunk's roll cover and was surprised to find that the old trunk was much wider. I guess the boxy shape of the older model provided wider trunk space......

I have a 2007 Lexus IS350. The check engine light, VSC, trac, and exclamation light came on. The car still runs. I plugged in scanner and got a 7E8 and 7E9 error code. What does this mean?
