Our trunk was damaged and we have a replacement, but would like to keep our original lock. When we tried to take the lock off the replacement trunk, the screw heads broke off.

Any suggestions on what to do next? Thanks

Just told that my vehicle 92,000 miles needs to replace the fuel pump o rings. Cost $450 sound right

So recently I've been thinking of getting an older LS and selling my 2013 GS 350 F Sport so I don't have anymore car payments.

My RX330 2004 3.3 engine Japan built would not pass smog. showed catclytuc converters bad has 268,000 miles. Installed new ones on Radiator and firewall sides. Also three new sensors. Failed again showing radiator side bad ( primary). Replaced oxygen sensor again with Denso 234 4168. Checked again still showing cat bad. Is it possible that the new radiator side (primary) is bad? Unable to check myself physically unable to work on vehicles anymore disabled vet have taken it to two different Service Garages. Need help, only car we have, on a fix income any ideas

I have RS*R Down springs and Im thinking of also getting a set of anti sway bars for my 2006 IS350. I see the only sets available are F Sport and Megan Racing. They seem similar but I want to see what other 2IS owners have experienced with both sets.

Please advise!

My LS-430 rear passenger door lock won't open from inside or outside after a battery drain. All other door locks work fine. Could disconnecting the battery and then reconnecting it end the condition?

Hello all,

I have a 2 part question. I just sold my Supra and am interested in getting 2011+ ISF for my wife and myself to use. My problem is, there aren't any for sale within 200+ miles of me (zip 21713). I'm okay with traveling/ flying to buy, but I would like to make sure I want one before.
1) Do you live nearby and would like to show me your car? I'd like to drive it of course, (around the block even) and would compensate you for your time.
2) Do you have one for sale. I'm a cash buyer for a very clean lower mile ISF if of course I like it.

Please PM me if this is something you can help me with. I have people on Supra Forums that can vouch for me. I know this is an out of the ordinary question, but there just isn't any for sale close. If I'm out of line for asking, please delete the post.

Does this new design theme mean everythings better and BOF luxury market will be amply stocked?


Side notes:
Ugly as it might be the QX80 is way better value then anything Japanese, BOF, and V8 in the front. Heck you can pick up one of these well equipped for the price of a L certified pre-LCI LXes.

Nissan quality (not as reliable as toyota but better then anything else out there) and depreciation
Japanese Built
Safety tech suites
Sofa Couches for seats

hello there.

Im new to this. I bought a 2006 IS250 AWD in September 2016. Lately, I've been thinking about modifying it. It is my daily vehicle and i have a baby on the way so i would like to keep as close as stock feel as possible but eliminate the wheel gap

My questions are:
1) Which lowering springs is the closest to stock feel?
2) is anybody running H&R lowering springs on 18 wheels? That is the set up im planning on doing..May i please see a picture if you are running that set up that would be a great help
3) i live in edmonton, canada. does anybody know a place in canada where i can get parts? i dont mind getting them anywhere but shipping wise i would like to save money on shipping while getting parts.

im sure there was a post like this posted before but like i said im new to this so please be nice to me lol.

I recently got some Osram CBI bulbs and I want to install them. I emailed my dealer and they quoted me $175 per side! And that's only if the bulb is a direct replacement and doesn't require a harness. I'm not sure what the hell the advisor was talking about a "harness." Any who, does anybody have the instructions on how to replace the bulbs? I was cleaning my engine bay today and it looks like the bulbs might be able to be replaced from the the top of the engine instead from under like some people have mentioned.

Does anyone on here know where the driver side door ECU is located in a 2004 ES330? I've looked in the driver door itself, in the kick panel and up around the steering column but haven't been able to locate it.

Hi All,

I am in desperate of help and was told that this is the place to find helpful, experienced people. I have a 1998 GS400 and was wondering if anyone can identify a noise that's coming from the right side of the engine. I used a stethoscope and its coming from the right side cam cover. I also noticed that the cam gear (actuator) is wobbling. I also noticed that there is a bolt missing in the assembly and oil is leaking from it which explains the oil leak that I am having. I attached a video clip and pics to this post to so you guys can better understand what my issue is. Your time and knowledge would be deeply appreciated. Thank you in advance.

My missus has a 2014 IS250 F Sport with:
- front 18x8.0 with 225/40R18, and
- rear 18x8.5 with 255/35R18.

Can she use slighter narrower and taller profile 225/40R18 tires on the same 8.5" rear rims at the back for greater softness and quietness?
Or will this adversely affect the understeer/oversteer ratio?

Did Lexus actually modify the IS's rear suspension geometry in the F Sport model, or does it simply have wider asymmetric rear wheels and tires?

Ok so apart from drilled, slotted and smooth (where I understand the difference) I have no idea how to pick break discs.

If you look at smooth discs (just as an example) there are some dead cheap one and then there is brembo which has a more premium price, but is there a difference?

Can anyone explaine what I should look at? Does material/coating play a difference? but then thinking about it how would I tell the difference in material as all manufacturers just state them as "alloys".
