i realize I am all over the place in wanting a Lexus. Just want to get out of leasing. My local dealer has a gorgeous 2007 LS 460 with ML audio, park assist, etc.. it does not have air suspension. I just drove it, buttery smooth for 100K, inside is looks new, love the V8! What's a fair price to pay? they are offering it up for 14,389, which i told the used car manager is too high. They have gone to no haggle. they trade value they are offering is fair, but id be paying $440 a month for a 2007, and that just aint right...but is an LS worth it? it was a 1 owner with all service records. I was surprised to find it has an aux input and spare 120v in the center console. The seats were to die for comfy.
Hello, I am currently experiencing headlight issues. I replaced the driver side headlight housing/ballast due to a crash and now when I turn on my headlights both side have a strobe effect. Not sure if the off brand bulbs I put in aren't right, if the headlight computer module is bad or if theres something wrong with the wiring. Let me know if anyone has some input please.

lexis IS 250 2008 has started fine till this am. started once and drove it and then got clicking and then nothing. heard something in engine running. Also the display screen, engine and battery light are on. i'm not even in the car and these displays and lights are on.
Pressed brake with key fob on my, green light appears. push button but nothing happens. Not a sound. Can hear continuous whirl in engine like a computer/fan is running.
The tire pressure display shows five readings, which one on your car is the spare tire?
On mine it is the middle one, the third, that makes sense the factory would set it like that so it never changes regardless of tire changes?
There does not seem to be a definite pattern to knowing which display relates to which tire, you have to take the time to figure it out yourself?
Ok last question, back to the accuracy of the TPMS versus hand held gauges. I have tried two digital and two sliding stick hand gauges and they consistently read about one a half to two pounds higher than what the display says the tire pressures are, this your experience too?
I note this difference also my 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid, hand gauges read two pounds more pressure than the car's display.
They both can't be right, anyone tell me which is correct, and if you say the car is always right as some maintain then why is that? Thanks for your comments!
Ive had CAT issues for a few months now and I would just pour cataclean in just so the dash light would go away but that doesnt seem to work anymore, would anyone be willing to sell me there cats if ur car isnt in use or wrecked etc, the Lexus dealership scanned it and said its the one on the back right of the car, ( I think he said theres 3) I may be wrong. But I for sure know he said its the one on the right, thanks.
I've already been through 2 sets of tires in 50K miles with the 2012 IS 350 CPO. Originally it had the OEM bridgestone tires on it, and I got the Michellin Super Sport at 75K miles. Now again at 96K miles they are done. Anyone here have recommendations of tires that will be comfortable, last longer, and not break the budget? Has anyone tried ordering from an online store? Please share your experience or recommendations.
Hello. I have a 2000 Lexus LS400 and the common check vsc, abs, vsc off lights. I read on here jumper pins to get in diagnostic mode. I did that. Then read to jumper ts and e1 to clear the codes. Which I did. But check vsc appears right away. So I'm not entering into that for some reason. But looking at my scanner. That under hood diagnostic port is laid out the same as the obd1 plug I have for my scanner. My scanner requires vehicle information when setting it up., and does not give the option for obd1. Says plug into obd2.
My obd2 port only has 4 wires into it. 3 on one row. 1 on the other. Is that normal?
If Lexus has a diagnostic scanner for that port. Is it actually just a OBD1 scanner. Or does it have completely different software?
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Ultimately I just want to reset all those error lights
Just thought I' d like to share a mod offered by RRRacing, its a directly muffler delete quad pipes, I didnt even know this mod existed until recently, and its rare to find any videos of this setup so I decided to make one here. The RRR Bazooka pipes are actually quad tips made to fit borla exhaust, it fits the Y Pipe of the borla exhaust and deletes the Borla mufflers. I must say when received this piece looked amazing, PPE always delivers and it actually looks much much better than the products shown on websites.
The fitment was perfect and quality of the pipes are amazing. I figured it would be since they were made my PPE, I also have headers by them and they are still looking like they did day one. The only issue I had was the pipes were initially touching the bumper on the right side, which was easily fixed by the muffler shop by welding a plate onto the Y pipe of the borla exhaust to widen it. After that was done, it fit like a charm, Another thing to consider is that the right pipes sit about .25" outward that no adjustment could fix, while it was not noticeable unless pointed out, that may be something to consider. Not sure if PPE would fix this issue, but its a fairly simple issue that any exhaust shop can modify to make it perfect. Needless to. say, the pipes sitting in the middle was fixed with a metal plate, and the right side sticking out was only noticeable up close and if pointed out, something I could easily live with.
Lastly, these pipes makes the car sound amazing and made me fall in love with my car again. Its not for someone who wants a quiet system, but if your looking for the mean sound these pipes make these are for you. You can get by daily driving it, but will need to be under 50% throttle, anything over and it may become overwhelming for some.
I am a horrible editor, but I made three videos, one startup, one high rev 6k, and one low rev 3.5k. About a minute each so hopefully wont waste too much time.

Hot day...rolled down the windows...detached battery. Upon reconnection, the windows don't work. Went to manual - tried reset; BUT...the windows are already down, so I can't "roll widows down half-way" (the first step of reset).
I am stuck with windows in the down position. Only driver window works.
How can I 'reset' when the windows are already down?

If anyone is looking for a set of OEM mag locks for a series 200, I've got a set with the key that came with the truck. I'll trade even-up for 4 OEM regular nuts...they're a two piece part with the nut and a washer. Priority mail in both directions.
I have been having a parasitic draw on my 2006 GS300. The battery will either be dead within 3 days or sometimes overnight. I put a multimeter in series on the negative terminal. I was measuring DC amps of 1.3A while car is off. I began pulling fuses and didn't see any change until I got to the DC Cut fuse on the passenger side fuse compartment in the engine compartment. After I pulled the fuse out the amps dropped to .1A. Does anyone know what the DC Cut fuse feeds? Does anyone have a schematic or wiring diagram? Any suggestions?
